Well besides the super crapy weather being so rainy and cold, we've been having fun. I am busy with photoshoots which is good because we still owe some contractors and it feels good to be able to pay them off. We did have one horrible experience with our first renters in our old house. We were just too nice and trusting and they totally ran over us. For the first time in my life I saw how poor people live and take care of things, live off of the church and other people, and blame everyone else for all their problems. Even though they only lived their for a few months, it was so dirty and disgusting when they left. We had to kick them out becuase they didn't pay the last month, but they just left one weekend and it was a disaster. One that I have been cleaning up for a good part of June. But we finally got a perfect couple with a 12 year old boy to move in. No pets, one kid, perfect! So hopefully it goes a little better this time. Ryan has been working on his chicken coop and we finally were able to get the chickens out of the basement shop and into the coop where their stinkyness belongs. Ryan also got the garden planted and things are starting to grow! We won't be doing the yard until next spring because we're out of money and a break from yard work and building will do us all some good! :) I got passes to the Legacy Center and we've been going a few times a week. The kids have also learned the joys of riding their bikes with friends and house jumping with big groups of kids their ages. It's so fun to see them living a carefree childhood, like I did. What would it be like to have no responsibilities again. EASY!
Our bishop has been bringing his horses over to eat the grass/weeds in our backyard and my kids have totally fallen in love with this little one eyed pony. The missing eye really freaked them out at first but now they don't even notice. They just love riding him!
